Mister Dominique Kakou is CIE’s Managing Director.
Mr. Dominique Kakou graduated from the Yamoussoukro Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Travaux Publics (National School of Public Works) in 1982 and from the CESAG (Centre Africain d’Etudes Supérieures en Gestion – African school for higher business management) in 1990. M. Dominique Kakou began his professional career as a civil servant at the Ministry for Public Works, Building and Town development in the Water Management department. There he was successively an Engineer in charge of studies and works on potable water supplies in secondary centres (June 1982-October 1988) and head of the financial department in charge of monitoring and financially controlling the public urban potable water concession (December 1990 to October 1995).
He was then appointed Deputy Director for the Development and Management of the Public Urban Potable Water Distribution Concession for Côte d’Ivoire.
In June 1998, the newly created Société International de Gestion, d’Etude et de Conseil (SIGEC) appointed him head of the economic studies mission.
In February 2001 he was appointed Assistant Director and then Director for the Budget and Management Control at CIE.
In June 2008, he advanced a step further to become Assistant Managing Director in charge of the Business and Financial Administration sector.
CIE’s Managing Director was also a Rural Infrastructure consultant for the Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD)
