Orélo

The signing of the concession agreement for the Orélo drinking water treatment and delivery factory followed the draft agreement that was signed in March 2017 by the Republic of Gabon, FGIS and the Eranove Group. This contract deals with the financing, design, implementation, operation and maintenance of a new drinking water production unit with a capacity of 140 000 m3 per day, located in Estuaire Province, specifically in the region of Komo-Kango.

The Orélo project seeks to improve the drinking water service in Libreville and the surrounding area by reinforcing the production capacity, given that it is used by more than 600 000 people, in order to respond to the ever increasing demand of the population.
