Ralph Olayé

Ralph Olayé is Director of Development and Project Management at Eranove, the leading pan-African industrial group in public service management and electricity and drinking water production. He oversees the Group’s development and geographical expansion, drawing on expertise acquired over several decades of activity on the continent in structuring, financing, implementing and operating projects in the essential areas of water, electricity and digital access.

Previously, Ralph held various positions at the African Development Bank, including programme performance and execution manager, coordinator of large-scale and regional infrastructure programmes, and resource mobilisation manager for the African Development Fund, which supports the economic development of low-income and fragile countries in Africa.

Before contributing to infrastructure development in Africa, Ralph Olayé demonstrated his entrepreneurial skills by supporting the international development of Egis Projects (Caisse des Dépôts Group) and founding a start-up related to process automation.
He is an Engineer-Economist from Ecole Centrale Paris, holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from HEC Paris.

Ralph Olayé also has the honour of being a Fellow of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a member of the African Leadership Network and Africa 2.0, and has twice been ranked among the Choiseul Institute’s Emerging Economic Leaders of the African Continent.
