Customer relations – CIE wins an innovation prize

From 21st to 22nd June 2018, the International Digitalisation, Outsourcing and Customer Relations Exhibition (SIDERC) was held at the CCRAE-UMOA building in Abidjan. The organisers of the event gave this year’s innovation prize to the Ivory Coast Electricity Company (CIE).

At the exhibition, the company made its mark, in part, through a stand that promoted its typical products and services, such as NMPF (New Bill Payment Methods), the electronic meter, the 179, energy saving, electrical risks.

Also, the Marketing Department led a conference on the topic of “customer satisfaction issues in the energy sector”. According to Ouattara Mamadou, the Deputy Director of Operational Marketing, his company’s participation in the exhibition was justified.

“CIE’s management has set itself ambitious goals in terms of customer focus, innovation and digitalisation of customer procedures. CIE’s participation in SIDERC seemed to present an opportunity to consolidate this vision. For us, this platform gave us a place to discuss CIE’s value propositions, in terms of digitalised service and innovation. In order to do this, we presented 4 services that provide clear responses to the expectations of CIE’s customers,” he argued.

Throughout this exhibition, the organising committee, led by Qualivoire Council, decided to reward the leadership, quality, innovation and excellence in customer relations displayed by CIE in carrying out unprecedented local action within the context of the O’client-CIE project. A customer relations award, in the innovation category, was presented to CIE outside this exhibition.

“The award received by CIE is a reflection of the improvements that they have made to the customer experience in terms of all the contact methods offered,” congratulated Ouattara Mamadou again.

Receiving this award from their partners who were also at the exhibition, CIE’s Director-General congratulated his teams on their efforts and encouraged them to keep up the good work in improving the company’s image.
