Electricity and potable water production

Eranove Group is active in electricty generation, as an independent electricity producer (CIPREL) and through its leasing contract with the State of Côte d’Ivoire (CIE).

Eranove group also maintains and operates water and electricity structures via lease contracts awarded by the Côte d’Ivoire and Senegalese republics (SODECI and SDE).

Independent electricity production: CIPREL

Created in 1994, CIPREL is, as of December 31st 2014, the largest generation power plant in Côte d’Ivoire.

CIPREL is composed of 6 gas turbines fueled with the offshore gas of Ivory Coast and a steam turbine in a combined cycle.

At the end of 2016, CIPREL installed capacity represented 543 MW.

Potable water and electricity production through leasing contracts within SDE, SODECI and CIE

Through a leasing contract with the State of Côte d’Ivoire, CIE, one of Eranove’s subsidiary, is active in electricity production. CIE operates and maintains 6 hydro-electric plants of an equivalent power of 604 MW and a 100 MW thermal power station (4 gas turbines).

Eranove group has produced in 2016, 423 million m3 of potable water using boreholes as well as the maintenance and operation of potable water treatment stations  in Côte d’Ivoire and in Senegal.
